National Museum of Australia: Eternities Gallery
Curator Marion Stell organized this exhibit around ten universal themes, including Joy, Luck, Mystery, and Lonliness. Artifacts from ordinary and extraordinary Australians are interpreted at touch-screen terminals. At separate computer stations, visitors can make an audiovisual recording of their own stories related to the same themes. The stations use a beam splitting mirror to align the camera to the visitor's eye level. Scott Guerin design the space and stations.
