Oatlands Plantation, A National Historic Trust Site, Leesburg, Virginia
In order to avoid mounting graphic panels, which however discreet, intrude on the historic structure and potentially weaken the experience, 4274 proposed graphic projections using pico projectors camouflaged within scenic elements. The graphic projectors were tested in situ sucessfully and can be proximity sensored and designed so that there are views of the space sequenced in that there are moments without projections, even if there is a near-continuous presence of visitors.
