Navy: Technology at Sea, Museum of Science and Industry, Chicago, Illinois
This 10,000-square-foot gallery takes visitors on a tour of three state-of-the-art Navy ships: a Nimitz-class carrier, an Aegis destroyer, and a Los Angeles-class attack submarine, each recreated at near-full-scale size. Each environment includes hands-on and computer interactives that support interpretation of the Navy’s use of the latest science and technology. Scott Guerin was the project designer.
