Mighty Eighth Air Force Museum, Savannah, Georgia
This 100,000 SF museum was designed by Mr. Guerin to tell the story of the Mighty Eighth Air Force which suffered among the highest casualty rates in WWII. Along with hundreds of artifacts, a multi-media experience takes visitors from the briefing room to a bombing run. In January of 2009, the organization acquired a B-17 and the master plan's vision was fulfilled.
